About HNECA

HNECA was formed on January 1st 2007 following the Boundary Commission’s decision to change the Parliamentary boundaries at the General Election in 2010.

The new Harwich and North Essex constituency is home to nearly 70,000 electors and includes the towns and large villages of Wivenhoe, Brightlingsea, Manningtree, Mistley, West Bergholt, West Mersea, Great Bentley, Dedham and Harwich.

The Harwich and North Essex Conservative Association is run by an elected committee, supported by an Agent and excellent team of volunteers. Many of the towns and villages in Harwich & North Essex have their own Conservative Party branches. Plus we also have an active Conservative Future for members aged under 30, a Conservative Women’s Group and a Business Club.
